Skin Devices Best for Acne!

Did you know that there are facial tools on the market that you can purchase to aid in healing your acne? As an acne sufferer myself, I have gone through trial and error with so many different devices. I'm so excited to share with you what's worked and not worked for me and my skin!

Without further ado let's dive right in! :)

  1. Facial Device for cleansing

- There are lots of different options when it comes to these tools, some of which are better than others. First off, what do they do? These devices help to give the skin a deeper cleanse, more than what your hands can do by themselves. These devices also help to increase circulation. When purchasing a sonic brush, stick with silcone or rubber as these devices are very easy to clean and disinfect! Steer away from devices with bristles, as these harbor bacteria.

2. High Frequency Machine

- These devices can be intimidating because they use electricity, but I assure you that they are very beneficial. High Frequency machines are used to kill acne causing bacteria, increases blood flow and circulation, and can help increase your cell turnover rate. They are very simple to use and you can get them on Amazon at an affordable price! At the end of your skincare routine, start by making sure your skin is not damp and has absorbed the products. Place in the glass piece by holding it at the base, and turn on the wand to the lowest setting. Please drop not turn it up higher than the lowest when you're first starting! You can touch your skin with it and it will not be painful. You can adjust according to your tolerance. You can use this to spot treat and as an all over treatment. If you're using this all over, be sure to use circular motions no longer than 3 minutes on the face. When spot treating, tap the pimple no more than 10 times.

3. LED Light Therapy

- LED Therapy is proven to be beneficial for multiple different skin conditions, including acne if used on a regular basis. You can use this for 5-10 min daily at any point during your skincare routine. Pause and hold on the places you're wanting to treat. There are multiple different color LED devices, I recommend finding one with at least Red, Blue, Green & Yellow.

These are a few of my go-to's when it comes to adding in that extra step to help target acne. You can look up any of these products online, and we also sell the silicone cleansing devices here at Ali & Co! If you made it this far thank you for reading!
